Back Next Season: Top 3 Classic Adidas Arsenal Kits
Yesterday Arsenal confirmed that they would switch to Adidas kits from next season. It's not the first time that the 3 Stripes will supply Arsenal's kits, as they already wore Adidas kits from 1986 to 1994 (before switching to Nike). Here are our Top 3 Gunners kits from that era.
Arsenal 92-94 Home
The Arsenal 1992-94 home kit was the last to be produced by Adidas to date. Utilizing the brand's Equipment template, it's a bit more extravagant the brand's earlier efforts.
Arsenal 91-93 'Bruised Banana' Away
Not many kits reach the cult status of this one, known simply as 'bruised banana' to many Gunners supporters.
Arsenal 86-88 Home
The very first Arsenal kit made by Adidas after taking over from Umbro in 1986 was an instant classic. In typical 1980s fashion, it expertly managed to keep things understated, yet interesting.
