Just One Difference?! Adidas Predator 18+ vs Adidas Predator 19+

This week, we we finally leaked the next-generation Adidas Predator 19+ football boot. The leaked pictures already revealed that not a lot has changed compared to the previous generation. Now we to compare the next-gen Adidas Predator 19+ with the current-gen Adidas Predator 18+, confirming that the boots are almost identical.

Upper

The next-generation Adidas Predator 19+ soccer cleats comes with the same upper in terms of tech. There are only some small visual differences - both the Adidas Predator 18+ and Adidas Predator 19+ have an Adidas Primeknit upper with Controlskin that keeps the ball glued to your feet.

Heel

The next-generation Adidas Predator 19+ comes with an added ribbed pad to the heel, the only actual difference.

Sole Plate

Just as the upper, the sole plate is also identical. The Adidas Predator 19+ features Boost cushioning in midsole + sockliner and a Controlframe plate.

All in all, it can be said that the next-gen Adidas Predator 19+ football boot is almost the same as the current generation, with the only differences the added pad on the heel and some smaller visual / slight upper changes.

The Adidas Predator 19+ will retail at the same price as the current generation - 300 USD (300 Euro, 280 GBP).
