New Items Added to Copa AS Roma Retro Collection
A range of classy items has been added to the exceptional AS Roma retro collection designed by club partners Copa Football. Here are some of the best additions from this season.
1978-79 Home Shirt
Amongst the new items is this 1978-79 home shirt, which highlights the Roma brand at a turning point in its history, between the simplicity and clarity of the 1970s and the impending move into modernity and experimentalism of the 1980s.
The shirt is completed by the Lupetto badge on the breast, a badge that was won during pre-season on the kits ahead of the 1978-79 campaign.
1978-80 Team Tracksuit
Another classic Roma look not to be missed - the team tracksuit worn from 1978-80 is added to the Retro Jerseys collection, along with the famous matching ghiacciolo ('lollipop') shirt the team wore during the period.
1978 Lupetto T-Shirt
Something a little less formal for the collection: a white t-shirt, adorned with the Lupetto that was designed by Gratton in 1978.
There have also been some women's options added.
