Mauro Icardi Renews Nike Deal Until 2027

Argentina and Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi this week renewed his sponsorship contract with Nike. The announcement was made by the player's agent and wife, Wanda Nara, on Instagram.

The Argentine has extended the contract with Nike for nine years until 2027 - Icardi will be 34 then. The original contract that was signed in 2013 for six year, expiring in Spring 2019.

"We finally came to a renewal of the contract with Nike. After months of work, this six-year partnership will continue for many more years. You deserve this and all the best in the world for being a great person and a unique athlete. Happy to work for you," said Nara. Icardi also celebrated the news on his social networks. "I'm happy and proud to have renewed my contract with Nike. Thanks to Wanda.

Icardi laced up in the Nike R10 signature boots in training this week.
