Van Dijk, Gnabry, Kanté, Guardiola & More - Players / Managers To Switch Boot Brands in 2019

Earlier this week, we took a detailed look at all players who switched their boot supplier in 2018. However, there are already some high-profile players that appear to change the boot supplier in 2019, including Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk and Arsenal's Lucas Torreira.

2019 Possible Brand Switches

Virgil van Dijk - Nike -> Puma

Liverpool center back Virgil van Dijk was spotted with the unreleased Puma Future 19.1 football boot in November 2018, a relatively clear indicator that his contract with Nike will end at the end of 2018 and that he could join Puma.

Lucas Torreira - Nike -> Adidas / New Balance

Arsenal's Lucas Torreira, who is wearing the Nike Mercurial Superfly boots in official matches, tried out the Adidas Nemeziz 18+ as well as New Balance cleats in training in December 2018.

Serge Gnabry - Nike -> Puma

Bayern München's Serge Gnabry was spotted with blackout next-gen Puma Future boots in training, yet again a clear sign that he will join Adidas' arch rivals Puma.

N'Golo Kanté - Adidas -> Puma

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kanté also seems to be joining Puma next year - He has been spotted wearing blackout versions of the next-generation Puma Future and ONE football boot in training instead of his usual choice, the Adidas X 18+ Purespeed.

Guardiola -> Puma

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola could also join Puma next year - Manchester City themselves are set to get Puma as kit supplier in Summer 2019. Guardiola had been sponsored by Adidas when he was FC Bayern Munich coach.
