One week ago, Nike revealed a Paris Saint-Germain edition of the React Flyknit shoe, Now the Swoosh showcased two FC Barcelona-themed paint jobs for the Epic React Flyknit 2 running shoes.
Sergi Roberto helped to launch the boot. When speaking about the shoe he said: “I do enjoy running. I run a bit more than my team-mates because I know I need my legs to be active because during the game, I’m going to have to run that extra mile to help the team win. The Nike React is a performance shoe, but they also have a lot of style. These are shoes I could easily use every day.”
2 Nike FC Barcelona x Epic React Flyknit 2 Running Shoes
Available in two colorways that match the Catalan club's home and away kits, the new Nike FC Barcelona x Epic React Flyknit 2 Running Shoes are FC Barcelona through and through. The home colorway is royal blue with a Blaugrana Swoosh and the Catalan flag on the heel, while the away colorway is volt. Both come with the Barca crest on the top front.
Tech-wise, the FC Barcelona Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 shoes are the same as the regular Nike Epic React Flyknit 2. The Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 are made for ultimate comfort, lightweight and energy return with every step. They feature an updated Flyknit upper for a minimal, supportive design and durable Nike React technology underfoot that is very soft and responsive.
The Nike FC Barcelona x Epic React Flyknit 2 running shoes will hit stores on 2 April 2019. Thy will retail at around 130 GBP.

FIFA Denies Guillermo Ochoa 2026 World Cup Legacy Patch Over Appearance Rules
Guillermo Ochoa has been denied the chance to wear FIFA's new legacy patch at the 2026 World Cup. Despite being selected for six World Cup tournaments spanning from 2006 to 2026, the Mexican goalkeeper does not meet the strict criteria set by FIFA. The governing body requires players to have made on-pitch appearances in at least five different World Cups to qualify for the special badge.
Ochoa did not play any minutes during the 2006 and 2010 tournaments, meaning he has only registered on-pitch appearances in three World Cups prior to the 2026 edition. Because of this, FIFA officially refused to award him the patch. Other veterans playing in the tournament, such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Manuel Neuer, and Yuto Nagatomo, have received the legacy patch for meeting the five-tournament appearance threshold.
The Mexican Football Federation is reportedly planning to push for a reconsideration of the ruling. If Ochoa features in a match during the 2026 tournament, the federation intends to appeal FIFA's decision in hopes of securing the legacy patch for the veteran goalkeeper.

The new Yokohama FC 26-27 shirts feature an abstract graphic design that represents flow and movement across all the jerseys. The home jersey is predominantly blue, while the away kit is white.
