For five years now, Nike is celebrating Air Max Day on March 26. For the occasion, San Jose (US) based artist Adrian Rocha has created a customized Mercurial Vapor in the Air Max style.

For his Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 'Air Max Day' boots, @adriancustoms was inspired by the Air Max 1 "Safari". He recreated all the details of the Air Max sneakers such as the Safari print and the shades of brown imitating suede.

Adrian used the white and orange Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 2018 World Cup boots as base for the cleats.

It would be no extreme surprise if Nike would release a similar football boot in the future. Last year, Nike already released a special Nike Air Max 270 Mercurial Heritage Collection consisting of five Air Max sneakers inspired by the five World Cup Mercurial football boots.
