Everton Extends Umbro Kit Deal
English Premier League club Everton FC announced today an extended multi-year technical partnership with iconic football brand Umbro.
Everton and Umbro share a long and successful history dating back to the 1970s. In 2014, Umbro again became the club's kit maker, taking over from Nike. Umbro had been making Everton's kit also between 1974–83, 1986–2000, and 2004–09.
Extended Umbro Everton Partnership Begins At The Start Of 2019-2020 Season - No Contract Details Disclosed
The Blues will continue to wear the famous double diamond brand, with Umbro UK providing the Club with bespoke technical kit and training wear for the men’s, ladies and Academy teams as well as for fans. No financial details nor the length of the contract has been revealed.
Umbro has maintained a strong track record of working with fans and consulted with thousands of Everton supporters over a 15-month period as part of the design process for the current season’s kits.
Everton's Commercial Director Alan McTavish said: "Umbro has a strong football heritage and we are confident that they will continue to provide our teams with bespoke kit designs and great-looking, technically advanced training wear."
Sam Lucas, Head of Sports Sponsorship at Umbro UK, added: “We’re delighted to extend our technical partnership with Everton. We have a proud history working together and it’s great that we can continue that relationship with such an ambitious club. We’re really looking forward to delivering more memorable kits for the fans.”
The extended partnership begins at the start of the 2019-20 season, with the Club’s new kits to be unveiled in the close season.
