Nike has revealed the first-ever laceless version for its Nike Epic Phantom React Flyknit running shoes. The shoe is called Laceless Nike Epic Phantom React Flyknit and set for a release in early May 2019.
Nike has yet to produce a laceless football boot, but the new laceless tech introduced on different shoes recently might be our first look at what a laceless Nike football boot might be like.
Laceless Nike Phantom React Flyknit Running Shoes
The Laceless Nike Epic Phantom React Flyknit is the laceless iteration of the Epic React. The shoe features the same base elements as other shoes of the series: a React midsole for cushioning and solid rubber traction to fit a variety of surfaces. Flyknit is used for the upper.
For the laceless version, the laces are gone in favor for elastic Flyknit yarns by the tongue and along the collar to secure a snug fit. Non-elastic yarns replace traditional lace hooks to offer structural stability.
The Nike Phantom React Flyknit Running Shoes shoe debuts in this purple-blended multicolored style due out globally on May 2.
In addition to the launch colorway officially presented by Nike, three other colorways already got leaked - a white, a turquoise and a second multicolored version.
The Nike Phantom React Flyknit shoes are set for a global release on May 2 2019.
