Pique, Van Dijk & Co Train in Unique Camouflaged Next-Gen Nike Tiempo Legend 8 Boots

Update: Sergio Ramos has been spotted with the Nike Tiempo Legend 8 'Dazzle Camo' football boots in Spain training. We expect the boots to be launched soon, either this or next month. Ramos could wear the boots in Spain's EURO 2020 qualifiers match against Faeroe Islands.

Update: Gerard Pique has joined his Premier League colleagues and also trained in a pair of the camouflaged next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 8 boots. Thanks to @remus1899.

Update: Manchester United's Matteo Darmian has also trained in the unique camouflaged next-generation Nike Tiempo Legend VIII prototype football boots.

Liverpool defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez were spotted wearing pretty unique boots. Taking into account everything, the disguised boots are next-gen Nike Tiempos, with the next generation of the silo set to drop this summer.

The upper of the cleats is disguised with a wavy black and white pattern that includes a distorted Tiempo writing - difficult to spot, but it's there. There's also a white outlined Swoosh and the fact that both van Dijk and Gomez rep the Tiempo line to prove that we're having a look at the next generation of the Tiempo, the Tiempo Legend VIII.

One of the first colorways of the Tiempo 8 was actually leaked a long time ago.

All in all, this is all reminiscent of how Puma used to introduce new generation of their boots with similarly camouflaged designs. Considering the efforts that have gone into this, we might see these boots on the pitch in an official ahead of the full release of the Tiempo Legend 8. Possibly even at the Camp Nou on Wednesday already.

What do you think of the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend VIII? Comment below, and check out the Boot Calendar for more.

Special Virgil van Dijk x Patta Jersey Revealed

Amsterdam streetwear label Patta has teamed up with Netherlands captain Virgil van Dijk and Nike to unveil a vibrant, one-off football jersey for the Virgil's Legacy Trophy. The international under-13 tournament, founded by the Liverpool defender in collaboration with his formative club Willem II, brings together 16 elite youth academies from across Europe to compete in Tilburg.

The shirt draws deep inspiration from Van Dijk's Surinamese heritage, taking stylistic cues from traditional pangi cloth, a brightly patterned woven textile central to Maroon and Surinamese culture. The design ingeniously weaves together the primary colors of every participating club, including Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, Ajax, and AC Milan, translating their identities into an eye-catching, blurred check motif across the entire shirt.

The reverse lists the complete roster of competing clubs under "The class of '26," complemented by a custom Patta x Nike co-branded jock tag on the lower hem.

The bespoke jersey has been created exclusively for the young players taking part in the tournament as a commemorative keepsake rather than receiving a general retail release.

First Time in 12 Years: Juventus Bring Back Long-Sleeved Kits on Pitch

Making his Juventus debut in the match against AC Milan, Nick Woltemade was the only Juventus player on the pitch wearing long sleeves. Excluding special-edition kits, the German strike became the first Bianconeri player made this choice since Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio back in the 13-14 season.

Remarkably, even Cristiano Ronaldo, a long-sleeve icon, never wore one during his time in Turin.
