Hoffenheim Announce Joma Kit Deal + Hoffenheim 19-20 Home Kit Teased

German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim today confirmed the rumors about a partnership with Spanish sporting goods manufacturer Joma. Joma replaces Lotto as Hoffenheim kit maker after five years.

Some days ago, Hoffenheim already released the first teaser images of the first-ever Joma Hoffenheim kit. With today's announcement, the club published another teaser.

Hoffenheim and Joma Sign Four-Year Kit Deal Until Summer 2023

Joma will provide all the club's teams - from Bundesliga professionals to youth and women. The agreement was initially concluded for a period of four years until 30 June 2023. The new collection, specially developed for TSG, will be presented at the beginning of July.

"Joma is one of the top ten leading sports brands worldwide and is known for its particularly sporty, creative collections with innovative design. We are delighted to be able to present a jersey partner whose ambitious goals are an ideal fit for us," says Dr. Peter Görlich, Managing Director of TSG Hoffenheim. "Joma is as ambitious a modern brand as we are."

"The cooperation with TSG Hoffenheim with its striving for innovation is very inspiring for us," says Alberto Lopez, Managing Director of Joma. "We have already established a strong collaboration in a short period of time. I am convinced that together we will become even stronger. Both partners want to set standards with excellent performance," emphasizes Lopez. "Our commitment is always focused on design, quality and, at TSG, technology innovation". Joma will also equip TSG Hoffenheim's trainers and coaches with sports and leisure shoes.

First Time in 12 Years: Juventus Bring Back Long-Sleeved Kits on Pitch

Making his Juventus debut in the match against AC Milan, Nick Woltemade was the only Juventus player on the pitch wearing long sleeves. Excluding special-edition kits, the German strike became the first Bianconeri player made this choice since Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio back in the 13-14 season.

Remarkably, even Cristiano Ronaldo, a long-sleeve icon, never wore one during his time in Turin.

Liverpool Could Use a Text-Only Turkish Airlines Sponsor?

Liverpool have announced that Turkish Airlines will become the club's new shirt sponsor from the 2027-28 season, ending the Reds' 17-year partnership with Standard Chartered.

While early fan concepts have used Turkish Airlines' familiar circular bird logo above the wordmark, a text-only sponsor could also be a realistic option.

The airline previously used a simplified two-line “TURKISH AIRLINES” wordmark on River Plate's shirts between 2019 and 2022, while Turkish clubs such as Galatasaray and Samsunspor have also used streamlined typographic versions of the branding.

A text-only layout could give Liverpool's future Adidas shirts a cleaner, less crowded look. The final sponsor application has yet to be confirmed, with the partnership set to begin in June 2027.
