Can Men Wear Adidas' Stunning 2019 Women's World Cup Kits?

It made big waves that Adidas did not release their 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup jerseys in Men's sizes as the demand would be too low (in contrast to Nike who decided otherwise...). Now German newspaper BILD made the test if it would be possible to wear the Germany 2019 Women's World Cup jersey as a men.

Women's Jerseys Practically Impossible to Wear as Men

An author of newspaper BILD tested to wear the Germany 2019 Women's World Cup home kit - The result of German newspaper BILD: In "L" (no larger size possible) the dress sits reasonably well, but is quite narrow at the shoulders and relatively short overall.

In contrast to Adidas, as already mentioned above, Nike is selling most of their 2019 Women's World Cup jerseys in Men's fit and sizes. Some like China's 2019 away kit are not available in Men's sizes, unfortunately. Nike does also market their 2019 Women's World Cup kits and all their other jerseys as suitable for Men and Women.

If you are wondering how is the case with football boots - those are the same for Men's and Women's, Check out our full article about Men's / Women's football boots for more details.

What do you think of Adidas not releasing Men's version of their 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup kits? Do you think that the Three Stripes will do so next time? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Adidas Teams Twinned by Design

Templates are not as common as they were in the past, but smaller Adidas teams still do not have custom designs always. In the outgoing 25-26 season, teams such as Düsseldorf, Al Ahly, and Sparta Praha all used the same Locker Room design with custom colors.

FC Machida Zelvia 26-27 Home Kit Released

Japanese J1 League side FC Machida Zelvia has officially released its new home kit for the 2026-2027 season.

The Adidas FC Machida Zelvia 26-27 home shirt is anchored by the club's traditional deep blue base color, which is elevated by a striking, sharp geometric graphic across the upper chest. This graphic is not bespoke but a new streamlined graphic by Adidas, also used by the Faroes Islands.

To provide a premium contrast, metallic gold is heavily utilized for the classic Three Stripes on the shoulders, the collar and cuff trim, and the Adidas logo itself. The primary "CyberAgent" sponsor, along with secondary collarbone partners, are applied in white.
