Eintracht Frankfurt Ditches Infamous Classic Branding For 2019-20 Kits
German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt and Nike released the club's new 2019-2020 jerseys at the start of the month. They introduce bold / modern designs in the club's traditional colors - especially the the home split opinion amongst fans. Now an Eintracht supporter has shown his anger about another change for Eintracht Frankfurt's 19-20 jerseys.
Eintracht Frankfurt had been using the same font style for the club's name since the late 1980s. It consists of a bigger 'Eintracht' lettering in Capitalized case and the 'FRANKFURT' lettering in UPPER CASE.
For 2019-2020 Jerseys Only? Eintracht Frankfurt & Nike Ditch Iconic Classic Branding For 19-20 Kits
The new Eintracht Frankfurt 19-20 jerseys does not only feature new designs, they also come with a brand-new typeface on the back that replaces the traditional 'Eintracht Frankfurt' lettering. The new lettering on the Eintracht Frankfurt kit does come with a pretty standard style that fits the style of the numbers and player names.
However, as of now, it seems unlikely that the club will change its overall branding - Eintracht Frankfurt is using the iconic classic style in the 2019-2020 season on all stuff except the player kits. It is also not known yet if Eintracht Frankfurt will revert to the now iconic classic 'Eintracht Frankfurt' lettering for their kits next season.
In fact, Frankfurt did not use the standard famous font for their kits for just two seasons in history since 1988.
Frankfurt kits did not feature the branding in just two seasons since 1988
The club did not reveal why the changed the style for the 2019-2020 season on their kits - it seems likely that it was just for aesthetic reasons.

Harrogate Town 26-27 Home Kit Released
Harrogate Town has officially revealed its new home kit for the 2026-2027 season. Produced by technical sponsor New Balance, the latest primary strip offers a bold and modern twist on the club's traditional yellow and black colors. Following the recent reveal of their striking geometric away jersey, this home release confirms that New Balance is committed to delivering highly bespoke and eye-catching designs for the North Yorkshire side's upcoming campaign.
The New Balance Harrogate Town 26-27 home shirt features a vibrant yellow base, anchored by thick black vertical stripes across the front of the torso. However, instead of traditional solid bands, these stripes are executed with a modern, pixelated halftone gradient effect that fades heavily around the midsection to seamlessly accommodate the black "envirovent" sponsor logo. To ensure a cohesive and sharp aesthetic, the New Balance manufacturer logo and the official club crest are both applied in a sleek black and yellow monochrome finish.
The launch completes the team's set for 2026-2027.
