Puma has equipped all of their major sponsored FC Barcelona players with what is almost certainly the next generation of the Puma Future Netfit soccer cleats, the Puma Future 20.1.

The Puma Future 20.1 are already Puma's fifth generation of the Future Netfit boot. The brand is releasing new generations of their boots two times a year - in January and July (every six months).

The boots worn by Antonie Griezmann, Sam Umtiti and Luis Suarez have the typical look of prototypes - they are completely blackout without any brandings.

Tech-wise, the next-generation Puma Future Netfit 20.1 cleats seem to be quite a big update compared to the current generation. The upper in the front area now features a synthetic layer, while the sole plate seems to have an external heel counter.

The next-generation Puma Future 20.1 Netfit soccer boots will be launched in January 2020, just six months after the previous generation (Puma Future 4.1).
