Some weeks ago, betting company made big headlines on social media by 'unsponsoring' Huddersfield Town FC. If you are a bit older, you surely now that shirt sponsors had not been there since eve, with FC Barcelona the last big club to have no kit sponsor by their choice (until 2007). Of course, there have been many other sponsorless football kits in recent history because of different reasons, mainly because a club did not find a main sponsor or for special occasions. There is no big club without a shirt sponsor today, however.
