Flamengo's deliberative council met on Monday, September 2 2019, and approved Flamengo's 2021-2022 jersey. This year, the kits will celebrate the 40 years of the conquest of the Club World Cup.
In case you are wondering - suppliers work two years in advance for each shirt made for their top teams. Flamengo's 2020-2021 shirts were already approved in 2018, as we see in the tweet of Venê Casagrande.
Flamengo 2020-21 Home Kit
The Flamengo 20-21 home jersey will be very similar to the shirt worn between 1987 and 1992. The kit will not have the classic polo collar, which was quite common at that time.
The shirt worn at that time had wider bands, with the black sleeves and the collars and the edges of the red sleeves.
Adidas Flamengo 20-21 Away Jersey
The Adidas Flamengo 2020-21 will be a reissue of the shirt used in the 1970s. Fa was white and had the shield applied in the center of the shirt, inside the red and black stripes that were applied together.

Details in black and red appeared on the collars and on the edges of the sleeves.
