September 2020: Arsenal's Nicolas Pépé to Leave Adidas for New Balance or Puma?
Update: After being spotted with blackout New Balance boots just around 10 days ago, Nicolas Pepe was wearing the latest colorway of PUMA FUTURE 4.1 in training. He still wore Adidas Nemeziz 19+ football boots in Arsenal's last match, however.
Nicolas Pepe Trains In Latest Puma Future Boots
It is very unlikely that Pepe already signed a contract with Puma as he is still wearing Adidas cleats in official matches. However, we are pretty sure that he will sign a new boot deal very soon.
Arsenal forward Nicolas Pépé could be leaving Adidas, a short time after he garnered the attention of the internet for wearing the Nemeziz 'Spider-Man' special-edition boots.
As spotted by the excellent bootsculture account on Instagram, Pépé laced up in a pair of blacked-out New Balance Furon v5 boots. That's the same model worn by Liverpool winger Sadio Mané - and not anyone else really.
It makes perfect sense for New Balance to try and pick up more high-profile players, considering the brand's very thin roster. If you want to sell football boots, you better have some professionals wear them.
So far, no details about the deal between Adidas and Pépé have surfaced. However, it's worth noting that BeIN Sport reported Adidas would try to get him to Bayern back in March - this would suggest a pretty strong relationship between brand and player, who, while not in Germany, ended up signing with another 3-stripe club.
Stay tuned for updates as they become available.

Nigeria Women Update Crest With 10 Stars
At the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), defending champions Nigeria featured a special detail on their shirts: 10 stars added above their crest. The "Super Falcons" had never worn stars on their kits in previous WAFCONs.
The 10 stars represent Nigeria's 10 continental titles, celebrating their history as the most dominant team in African women's football. Big thanks to our Vietnamese partner @jerseystory_vn for the collage image.
