Croatia to Leave Nike For Adidas?
One of our followers sent us a picture on Instagram suggesting that the Croatian national football could sign a kit deal with Adidas, which would end a long-term partnership with Nike.
The picture is from the Instagram story of Ivan Rakitic, who is wearing an Adidas tracksuit with what seems to be a Croatia logo on the left chest. However, a quick research reveals that Adidas will not sponsor the Croatian national team anytime soon.

In fact, Croatia has been sponsored by Nike for already 18 years. In 2016, the Croatian Football Federation and Nike have confirmed the signing of a contract extension which will see Nike remain the official kit sponsor of Croatian Football Federation for another decade until 2026.
Info on the Croatia EURO 2020 kits has been already leaked as well.
The Nike Croatia EURO 2020 kits will be released in March 2020, just as all other Nike EURO 2020 football kits.

Nike Confirms Release of Gold Mercurial CR7 2026 World Cup Boots
Nike has officially confirmed the upcoming release of the highly anticipated, special-edition signature boot for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the American sportswear giant will launch a spectacular all-gold Mercurial specifically designed for the Portuguese superstar. This exclusive release is scheduled to drop just before Portugal kicks off their opening group-stage match.
The decision to equip the forward in a striking all-gold colorway is a deliberate and symbolic tribute by the brand's design team. Speaking on the upcoming launch to The Athletic, Nike representative Odinga Nimako, a senior figure at Nike’s global football footwear team, explained the specific reasoning behind the glamorous aesthetic. "The fact that Ronaldo is playing his sixth World Cup, we wanted to celebrate the legacy he has set and the way he continues to add to his legacy," Nimako stated. "And there is no better color than gold to help do that."
It remains to be see if Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the golden boots in a match - we expect him to wear them in training only.
France National Team Wear First-Ever Club Kits in Pre-World Cup Tradition
Before their opening match of the 2026 World Cup, the France national team has continued a pre-tournament tradition by posing for a squad photo wearing the kits of their first-ever clubs. The image, which recently gained widespread attention on social media, serves as a tribute to the players' grassroots origins before they compete on the international stage.
The photo features the squad donning the jerseys of the local and amateur teams where their football journeys began. Kylian Mbappé and William Saliba are both seen representing AS Bondy, while Ibrahima Konaté wears the colors of Paris FC. Other notable inclusions are Jules Koundé in Fraternelle de Landiras, Aurélien Tchouaméni in JS D'Artigues, Dayot Upamecano in VS Angers, Ousmane Dembélé in ALM Evreux, Jean-Philippe Mateta in Sevran, and the Hernández brothers in CF Rayo Majadahonda gear.
This tradition highlights the diverse beginnings of the squad and provides valuable recognition for the youth and amateur clubs that helped develop the current generation of French national team players.
