Watford Logo Vote Results Announced
Watford FC just announced the highly anticipated results of the crest vote that had been going on for the past few days.
In the end, the current 'moose' crest has beaten the one created by Dilley Studio (Marcus Dilley & Brian Gundell) by a narrow 60-40 margin.
Spencer Field, the club’s Global Strategy & Partnerships Director, said: “The initiative has thrown up some opportunities for the club. In particular, we will be utilizing one of the 4,000 designs for retail/merchandising purposes.
“Very few of you will have seen the relevant design, as it was never suitable as the club’s official badge, but we think it will modernize our fashion range and we look forward to unveiling it in 2020.”
Finally, the club thanked the more than 25,000 fans that participated in the voting process throughout its different stages.
Marcus Dilley took to his Twitter to comment on the decision.
Thanks to all the fans that helped us through the process and backed us in the final vote.

It’s great to know our design, that was made just 5 months ago, competed and won around 40% of the vote against the current crest that has been the foundation of the club for 41 years. https://t.co/DDp6BTV6BS
