Mainz 05 Announce Kappa Kit Deal
German Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05 will play in Kappa-branded kits for five years as from the 2020-21 season, at has been revealed today. The wide-ranging partnership has been secured by Infront, an international marketing company.
Kappa replaces long-term Mainz kit maker Lotto after 12 years.
Kappa To Make Mainz 05 Kits For Five Years - 2020-2021 - 2024-2025
The Turin-based sports brand Kappa will supply playing jerseys and training apparel to all football teams associated with the club from under 8 level right up to professional level for five years, from the 2020-21 season until 2024-25. No financial details have been revealed.
Next season's jersey – due for release later this year – will also be worn by the club's handball and table tennis teams. Fans will also benefit from the partnership thanks to a new range of products and plans to incorporate more sustainable materials in the future.
Infront Germany Managing Director Marco Sautner said: "Mainz 05 has a well-known and globally experienced partner at its side in Kappa. The shared values form a strong basis for a successful partnership."
Mainz 05 Commercial Director Jan Lehmann said: "With Kappa we were not only able to win a globally known brand as a supplier, but also a partner who shares our values. The Kappa logo unites two people in sport, it symbolises fairness and respect - things that are of key importance to our club.”
Kappa Deutschland GmbH Managing Director Cornelia Schmidt said: “Mainz 05 has not only managed to establish itself in the Bundesliga, but has also developed a positive brand. We are very pleased to be able to accompany the club from the 2020-2021 season onwards and are convinced both Mainz 05 and Kappa will benefit from this partnership.”

Curaçao have debuted their away pre-match shirt for the 2026 World Cup. The design follows Adidas' streamlined template with a white base and contrasting blue sleeves. The Trefoil logo is featured on the chest alongside standard national team branding.

Raphinha will wear the number 11 shirt for the Brazilian national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Brazilian media outlets including Canal GOAT reported the details after the CBF released the official squad numbering list.
