They very much resemble the discontinued Puma evoSPEED, as could already be said when Celtic's Jeremie Frimpong was spotted wearing them in training.

Puma Ultra - Features

The Puma Ultra is made for "uncatchable speed" and ignites a "new era of fast" for the brand. A lightweight speed boot, the Puma Ultra features the new lightweight "MATRYXEVO" upper.

Constructed with reactive Kevlar and Carbon yarns, the MATRYXEVO upper aims to provide support during fast-forward motion. There's an additional GripControl Pro coating to improve ball control.

The "SpeedUnit" sole plate is inspired by running spikes. All in all, the Puma Ultra boots are designed to offer a reliable mix of agility, traction, control and speed.

Puma Ultra - Release Date

The orange / black Puma Ultra boots are set to be released in mid-July, with a blackout edition set to follow later that month.

Besides the Ultra, Puma also showed of the accompanying 'Future' colorway, which is based on the next generation of that silo:
