No More "Royal Panda": QPR Change Main Sponsor Mid-Season
QPR have debuted their brand-new main sponsor BetUK.com in today's Championship game against Bristol City (0-1).
BetUK, which is owned by LeoVegas, replaces Royal Panda, another sub-brand of LeoVegas, after it pulled out of the UK market.
The QPR 2019-20 home and away kits will feature the BetUK logo from now until the end of the season.
Accompanying this unique sponsorship change, QPR and BetUK are offering fans to have the Royal Panda logo replaced by the new sponsor at no additional cost.
A BetUK.com spokesperson said: “We wanted to give all supporters the opportunity to match their shirts with the players’. It’s important for us that we create a strong link between BetUK.com, the club and the supporters. We are excited to immerse ourselves into the club’s culture and fan base.”
QPR’s Commercial Director Euan Inglis said: “Royal Panda have been a fantastic partner for the last two and a half seasons. Although Royal Panda will be replaced by BetUK.com until the end of this season, our relationship with the group will be maintained by BetUK.com coming on board.”
