There couldn't have been a better time for Bayern Munich to release its brand-new anniversary kit than after last night's convincing 3-0 away win over Chelsea. The club was founded tomorrow 120 years ago, on 27 February 1900.
The special Adidas FC Bayern München 120-years anniversary kit will be worn against Augsburg on March 8 2020.
In addition to this shirt, the club has already launched an anniversary-inspired lifestyle collection.
FC Bayern Adidas 2019-2020 120th Anniversary Shirt
This is the new Adidas Bayern Munich 120th anniversary shirt for 2019-2020.
Bayern Munich's new anniversary shirt is predominantly 'crystal white' with monochrome and tonal logos.
The sleeves and collar of the Adidas Bayern München 120th anniversary jersey are dark red to replicate a classic look for the club.
A classic Bayern logo from the club's early years is used on Bayern Munich's 2019-20 anniversary jersey instead of the contemporary one.
There are two smaller details: the official 120th anniversary logo appears on the inside of the shirt, while there's a burgundy jock tag that reads 'Special Edition - 1900-2020' on the bottom right.
Staying true to the classic inspiration, dark red shorts and black socks are used for the Bayern 120th anniversary kit.

Celebrating the city's rich engineering heritage, the design is heavily inspired by the iconic Mallard locomotive, paying tribute to the famous Made in Doncaster train. AFC Wimbledon 26-27 Home Kit Released
The new AFC Wimbledon 2026-27 home kit was officially released today. Made by Lotto, the new kit features the club's traditional colors and will be available to purchase from July 4.
The Lotto AFC Wimbledon 2026-27 home shirt introduces a bespoke look in blue and yellow. The standout feature of the design is the extensive use of the Lotto logo, which is repeated continuously around the collar and the sleeve cuffs.
This repeated logo detailing on the collar and cuffs gives the shirt a distinct retro feel, but it breaks standard equipment regulations for European competitions. Due to the excessive branding, the AFC Wimbledon 2026-27 home kit would not be allowed to be worn in UEFA competitions, but EFL apparently allowed it.
