Vasco da Gama Signs Kappa Kit Deal - Return After 20 Years

On Thursday night, Kappa officially announced that they will make the kits of Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, replacing another Italian brand, Diadora. This means that the Italian brand returns as the club kit maker after exactly 20 years - Kappa supplied the club from 1995 to 2000, one of the most victorious times of Vasco.

With the motto "The time has come to continue this story. We are together again!", the brand released a video where it recalls the great moments lived together with Vasco in his first stint, where several titles were won, such as two Brazilian Championships (1997 and 2000), the Copa Libertadores (1998) and the Mercosul Cup (2000).

Details of the agreement have not been revealed, however, the new Kappa Vasco kits should be presented after the regional Carioca Championship (around May 2020), where the "Gigante da Colina" will continue wearing Diadora's kits.
