Borussia Mönchengladbach 20-21 Home Kit Released - Different Sponsor on Match Jerseys?
Update: Following its reveal roughly a month ago, the Borussia Mönchengladbach 2020-21 home kit has officially gone on sale recently - we've added the relevant pictures further down. Also worth noting is the fact that new signing Hannes Wolf was presented recently wearing a shirt that's not available to buy like this.
The shirt worn by Wolf is not only the authentic 'match' version, which is noticeable thanks to the laser cut holes in the collarbone area, but it also features a different slogan for the main sponsor - "Besser Aktien Handeln" ("Trade Stocks Better") instead of the "Aktien. Online. Handeln." ("Trade. Stocks. Online.") writing that's found on the replica jersey.
BREAKING: Borussia Mönchengladbach just unveiled online forex broker flatex as its new main sponsor following the departure of Postbank. The new Gladbach 20-21 home kit was also presented. It will be available to pre-order later this week.
Featuring the design we previously leaked and made by Puma, we will see the new Borussia Mönchengladbach home kit in the 2020-21 Bundesliga.
Puma Borussia Mönchengladbach 20-21 Home Kit
Check out Puma's Borussia Mönchengladbach 2020-21 home jersey below.
The Puma Borussia Mönchengladbach 2020-21 home shirt introduces a much more classy and reserved look compared to this season's very bold 'smoke' design.
Inspired by the recently hotel that opened next to the stadium recently, and in line with Puma's current trends, The Puma Borussia Mönchengladbach 20-21 home shirt has a subtle all-over diamond print that replicates the skewed facade of the building.
The rest of The Puma Borussia Mönchengladbach 2020-21 home jersey is very clean and understated as well - all logos as well as the two stars above the crest are black.
A bit of detailing was added below the crest to celebrate the club's 120th anniversary, while the new sponsor logo is most definitely a welcome change from the garish Postbank 'box'.
White shorts and socks complete the kit.
Flatex Becomes New Gladbach Shirt Sponsor
“We’re delighted to have agreed this contract with flatex and are looking forward to starting a new partnership with a successful and ambitious company,” said Borussia chief executive Stephan Schippers. “Borussia Mönchengladbach is one of the strongest brands in German football. Studies in recent years have continued to demonstrate that and receiving the German Brand Award once again is testament to the value of our brand image. All of that is reflected in our cooperation with flatex.”
Frank Niehage, CEO of flatex: “I’m convinced that Borussia are the best possible partner for us, with almost identical values and a high cultural compatibility. We both share the same ambitious vision of being at the top of our game for a long time in Germany and Europe. This is the start of a new and strong alliance on our journey of going from one million to two million online trading customers in 18 European countries. Today, we lay a substantial foundation for that with our long-term partnership.”
Guido Uhle, director of sponsorship at Borussia, spoke about the search for a new main partner: “After Postbank confirmed their departure following eleven years as our main sponsor, we held a lot of talks with potential new partners for our largest sponsorship package and entered the final discussions in recent weeks. We were most convinced by flatex, ultimately because of their vision and strategy. We signed the contracts late last week and are now looking forward to a fruitful partnership for both parties.”
No financial details were announced as is usual. However, local sources reported that the deal between Flatex and the club would run for an initial three years and be worth €10 million per year, up from around €7 million with Postbank.

FC Luzern 2026-27 Away Kit Released
The new FC Luzern 2026-27 away kit has been officially released. Made by Erreà, the shirt will be worn during the club's 26-27 Swiss Super League campaign and follows the release of their 125th-anniversary home kit earlier in May.
The Erreà FC Luzern 2026-27 away shirt draws inspiration from one of the city's most representative architectural landmarks, the Jesuit Church. It features a sophisticated tone-on-tone ornamental pattern that runs discreetly across the fabric. A striking blue vertical stripe, enhanced by a subtle golden trim, runs down the center of the shirt, paying homage to the club's traditional colors and adding a touch of elegance to the overall design.
The new Erreà FC Luzern 2026-27 away jersey successfully connects the club's local heritage with a contemporary aesthetic. The kit is currently available to purchase through the official club store.
