Extraordinary Nike 1986-87 Kit Numbers
If we look 35 years back, football (or soccer) was not anyhow the same as today. This very much applies to the football kits, which were mostly made by local brands or the big two German rivals, Adidas and Puma. A new player in the late 1980s was US company Nike, who designed one-of-a-kind numbers in 1986 for Belgium club KSK Beveren. Pictures by Damien from RB | Classic Soccer Jerseys.
Nike 1986-1987 Numbers Kit
These are the Nike KSK Beveren numbers for 1986-87.
The Nike KSK Beveren 1986-1987 numbers feature a unique design that draws inspiration from classic soccer numbers. Numbers are made of black lines and include the classic Futura Swoosh.
Those numbers are different to anything we have seen so far, and we do not think that they were used by Nike for a long time.
The Nike KSK Beveren 1986-1987 jersey itself is not spectacular. The Nike KSK Beveren 1986-1987 shirt features has a yellow / blue diagonal design with a light petrol blue diagonal stripe and collar. The logo of main sponsor mita sits on the front.
