German Bundesliga Clubs Release Face Masks With Team Designs

In several German federal states, it was announced that citizen will have to wear safety masks when being in supermarkets or using public transportation. Already before, several German Bundesliga and lower-tier teams have started to sell safety masks inspired by the club.

Safety Masks By German Clubs

The list of German clubs that are offering safety masks includes German Bundesliga clubs FC Schalke 04 and Fortuna Düsseldorf as well as various lower divisions teams like Dynamo Dresden, 1860 Munich and Hanover 96. The clubs masks boast designs inspired by each team - some come with the club's colors, others have famous club slogans or other insignia.

The masks sold by Bundesliga clubs retail at price between 5 Euro and 15 Euro. Some clubs are donating all proceeds, while others will take the money for the club.

Austrian club Rapid Wien were the first to release a mask for public

Hanover 96 announced that they have already sold more than 10000 masks, and many other teams have already sold all the masks they are able to produce.

All those safety masks are no medicinal product and rather cheap masks produced from simple material.
