A look a the sole plate of CR7's soccer cleats reveal that he is not wearing standard SG studs but some special ones. Indeed, the studs are from French brand SMARTPOWER, who launched special screw-in SG studs not too long ago.
SMARTPOWER studs are designed to offer more acceleration, lateral stability, thrust and unparalleled comfort. They are not circular as usual SG studs but have a special cut. Each stud direction can be adjusted by the player for a optimal result.
