Juan Cuadrado wore what first seems to be a completely blacked out Adidas Copa 20 football boot. The black wore off as the game went on, but it is still a clear indicator that the Colombian's contract with Adidas is at an end.

So far, no details about the deal between Adidas and Cuadrado have surfaced.

In early 2017, Juan Cuadrado was already rumored to leave Adidas after he laced up in custom completely blackout Adidas X 16 soccer cleats. He stayed with Adidas in the end.
