Are the Leaked Chelsea 20-21 Away & Third Kit Colors Wrong?!

A lot of speculation has been going around Chelsea twitter lately, with some accounts hinting at what we know about the new away and third kits being wrong.

@CarefreeYouth tweeted a picture of three circles, one blue, one yellow and one black.

While not everyone immediatelly got what it was about, they followed it up later with a tweet that reads "I thought the third kit was red and blue?", which got people going crazy in the comments.

However, we can confirm that our leak of the Chelsea 20-21 third kit is 100% accurate and that Werner, Ziyech and Co. will definitely don the "Crystal Palace look" next season.

The same applies for the away kit, which, while we don't know the exact look yet, will be light blue.

This of course brings us to the question what exactly CarefreeYouth's initial Tweet was hinting at. We can see two possibilities here:

First, that Chelsea will release a fourth kit that could be yellow or black. We have no information about a possible Chelsea fourth kit at this time, though.

Second, the three circles could represent the Chelsea kit colors for the 2021-22 season. The home being blue of course, with the away and third being yellow and black, respectively.

While we can not confirm this at the moment, it could be possible since around this time would be the earliest we've seen the first on next season's jerseys pop up in the past.

For example, we first heard about Inter getting zig-zag stripes in mid-August last year.

Stay tuned for more as we investigate...
