Update: Puma has announced how players can get their hands on the Puma Ultra 'Speed Is Back' prototypes - players can enter a raffle via Twitter. It is not known if their will be other one possibilities to get the boots yet - we expect that limited editions will be sold. A new picture of the cleats was revealed as well.

Puma could release a special 'prototype' edition for the all-new Puma Ultra football boots, the brand's new speed silo.

Puma Ultra 1.1 'Speed Is Back' - Special

Here are the new Puma 'Speed Prototype' Ultra 1.1 football shoes (via Footpack).

The 'Special' Puma Ultra 1.1 boots boast a never-seen-before look for soccer cleats. The special Puma Ultra 1.1 'Speed Is Back' football shoes come with various text and brandings on the upper including the lettering Speed Prototype, Faster and c̶a̶t̶c̶h̶a̶b̶l̶e̶.

Puma's Ultra logo is printed in orange / white on the outstep. The outsole of the Puma Ultra 1.1 soccer boots from the Speed Is Back collection is orange.

The 'Special' Puma Ultra 1.1 boots seem to be identical to the official launch edition looking at features.

The weight is pretty low compared to Puma's current two silos, Future and ONE. Where the Future is 250g and the ONE 220g, the Puma Ultra weighs in at just 175g (6.17oz; size 43, via Footpack).

Following the end of the exclusive raffle, it looks like the boots will be available to buy as well, with Unisport announcing an August 12 release date. In addition to that, regular Puma Ultra colorways should start dropping soon.

The first-ever Puma Ultra boots are predominantly orange with a subtle white Cat branding on the oustep and an understated gradient towards the front.
