Adidas Bayern München 20-21 'Champions League' vs 2017 Digital Fourth Kit
On Monday, Adidas released the new Bayern Munchen 2020-21 third kit, officially promoted as Champions League jersey. It boasts a stylish design in black, white and red that has clear similarities to a jersey Bayern had only digitally around two and a half years ago, in December 2017.
Adidas 20-21 Bayern München Champions League Jersey vs FIFA 18 Digital Fourth Jersey
The Bayern München 2020-2021 third kit is black with a red diamond design in a hand-painted look picks up not only the outer facade of the Allianz Arena, but also the diamonds of the club emblem and the Bavarian flag.
The design and color scheme of the jersey is inspired by the EA Sports FIFA 18 Digital Fourth kit, which was very popular but only released digitally.
Differences between both kits include the graphic style, the collar and the Three Stripes.
Bayern Munchen's Champions League-exclusive third kit font is also inspired by the typeface from late 2017.
The shorts and socks of both jerseys are also similar, with the 2020 kit having more classic Three Stripes branding.
The Adidas 20-21 Bayern München third jersey is available since August 10 2020.
