Adidas Recycles Old Designs For Dozens Of Clubs In 2020-21 Season
The 2020-21 kit release summer is in its final phase. We have already seen most of the club's new jerseys for the 2020-2021 campaign - some of the 2020-21 kits are true stunners. However, there are some 'brand-new' 20-21 football kits that are not really new, especially from one brand - Adidas.
Twinned By Design - Reused / Multiple Used Adidas 20-21 Kit Designs
The reason for many Adidas shirt to be not "brand-new" and also look "old" is that they feature no new but reused designs - this is the case with many of the jerseys of the brand's "B Clubs" like Ajax, Lyon, Leicester or Sheffield United.
So, in the 2020-21 season, many Adidas teams are having the same base design for their kits, or, are using old kits. We have put together some Adidas 2020-21 jerseys that are reused or used for more than one club.
'C Clubs' Do Get 100% Teamwear Kits Most Often
Of course, there are also those "C Clubs" (and lower-division teams) that are not getting bespoke jerseys at all but 100% teamwear based shirts.
Besiktas' kit is simialr but NOT recycled
In fact, Adidas is not the only manufacture who reuses kit designs. All of the big brands are not giving their important teams exclusively 100% bespoke designs but often reuse old / use standard designs for less important teams. However, in the 2020-21 season, one big brand stands out in that unfavorable thing - Adidas.
Which other Adidas teams do you know that got a 'recycled' kit for the 2020-21 season? Comment below.
