UEFA Forces Bayern München To Wear Black Numbers On 'Infrared' 20-21 Away Kit

Bayern Munich yesterday humanized FC Barcelona in the quarter final of the UEFA Champions League. As a regular follower of our website, you might have noticed that something with Bayern's 20-21 away jersey was a bit different to the first time they wore it.

In contrast to the kit available in the webstore and debuted in the first pre-season friendly against Marseille, Bayern combined their 20-21 away kit with standard black club numbers. It is safe to assume that UEFA did not allow the German champions to wear the badly visible Infrared kit font.

The other main difference can be also found on the back. The Bayern München 20-21 kits do not feature the FC Bayern München text on the upper part.

It is not known yet if the German Bundesliga will allow Bayern to wear the 2020-21 away kit with Infrared numbers - we strongly expect so, however.
