The 2020 home kit of Brazil celebrated its long-awaited debut in a 2022 World Cup Qualifiers 1-0 victory against Venezuela.
For a direct comparison - The Brazil U23 wore the old home kit against Korea Republic U23 today.
On-Pitch - Brazil 2020 Nike Home Kit
Brazil wore the uniform as expected and as they have had worn since the early 1950 - a yellow shirt, blue shorts and white socks. The on-pitch appearance was pretty great, we, have to admit, better than we expected from the leaks.
The socks, however, do not really fit the 1970-inspired look of the kit.
The on-pitch debut of the Brazil 2020 home kit also gave us a first look at the typeface of the Brazil 2020 home kit with names. The font used for the letters is not the same as for the numbers but a clean sans serif typeface.
The Brazil 2020 away kit is set for a debut by the first time in March 2021 next year when Brazil faces Colombia away from home.
