Trident To Feature On Kits? Nike Atlético Madrid 2021-22 'Neptune Fountain' Collection Leaked
Nike will release an one-of-a-kind collection for Atlético Madrid for the 2021-22 season, inspired by the Fountain of Neptune in Madrid. Thanks to Ofoball for the pictures.
The Fountain of Neptune is a neoclassical fountain located in Madrid, Spain. It lies on the centre of the Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo. It is traditionally occupied by Atléti by for their title celebrations.
Nike Atletico Madrid 2021-22 Fountain of Neptune Collection
The Atletico 20-21 Fountain of Neptune collection includes two different products types and two different colorways - striking jackets with a trident graphic design on the sleeves, and rather classic styled lifestyle items with a trident logo.
The trident is taken from the Neptune sculpture, as you likely have already noted.
In fact, Nike's Atletico's 21-22 home / away kits will likely feature the trident as an element, either as a pattern or as a logo on them.
The Nike Atletico 20-21 Trident collection will be released in July 2021.
