Apollon reached the Europa League Group Stages on four occasions. According to Socios, they "made fan engagement history in October of last year when they asked their fans to pick the team for a friendly with local rivals Aris Limassol". However, that is not true as as United London FC were the first club to allow supporters voting on the starting XI, and that for every match.
