We have kit news from the MLS as the new Adidas Philadelphia Union 2021 away shirt was unveiled today.

The Philadelphia Union 2021 away strip is called “BY|U” to underline that it is a first in the club's history. It is the club's first-ever shirt that was designed by a group of fans, the Union Creators' Collective, from 'start-to-finish'.

Introducing a unique look, the Adidas Philadelphia Union 2021 away football shirt is mainly sky blue with vibrant yellow trim at the V-neck and sleeve cuffs. The 3 stripes on the shoulders as well as the sponsor logos on the chest are also yellow, while the club's logo sits on the left chest in a recoloured light blue / yellow rendition.

However, the outstanding element is a lightning pattern running all over the Adidas Philadelphia Union 2021 away jersey in a lighter shade of blue to symbolize 'the Union's unique and energetic style of play'. The writing “Energy and persistence conquer all” is on the necktape, while a kite and key icon sits on the upper back of the shirt.

The new Philadelphia Union 2021 away uniform is available since February 5, retailing at $134..99 USD.
