In December 2020, Juventus' Alvaro Morata caught people's attention by wearing a hybrid Adidas X x Predator Mania football boot. Now Mexican midfielder Miguel Layún from CF Monterrey has become the next professional to wear a hybrid football boot.

The custom hybrid Miguel Layun boots combine the tech of the 2020 Adidas X Ghosted boots with the design of the famous 1998 white / red / black Adidas Predator Accelerator boots.
All the elements of the boots have been hand-painted by Chinese artist petezheng.art.
petezheng.art also posted a video of the making of the custom Adidas X Predator 1998 Hybrid boots.
