Introducing an uncommon look, the Adidas Universidad de Chile 2021 away shirt comes with chequers in two shades of pink on the front and sleeves, while navy accents such as the V-neck, the sleeve cuffs or the 3 stripes on the shoulders add to the appearance. The club's logo sits on the left chest in its regular form.
Although wearing pink is not common for Universidad de Chile, the checkered design is not unprecedented in its history. In 1923, the team from the University of Chile already used a uniform with those characteristics.
On the back under the collar is the slogan "Romántico Viajero" ("Romantic Traveler") that alludes to the official anthem of the team.
The new Universidad de Chile retails at a price of $49.990 (70 USD) on Adidas' official Chilean website.
