Manchester City yesterday unveiled what they claimed to be the new 21-22 goalkeeper kit in a short video featuring Ederson.

Inspired by Manchester City fans' tradition of bringing inflatable bananas to games, the Puma Manchester City 2021-2022 April Fool's goalkeeper football shirt boasts a bold all-over print that consists entirely of depictions of the fruit.

Unfortunately, one might say, the entire concept and design was just an elaborate prank for April Fool's.

And while this design might have been a bit too much, it would be great to see Puma release more unique goalkeeper designs for their teams instead of all of them being based on the same teamwear template.
