Pogba Says Goodbye to Laceless Adidas Predator Boots - Here Is Possibly Why
Update: Since early April 2021, Paul Pogba has been not wearing the laceless version of the Adidas Predator Freak football boots. Thai football boot experts UnderStats have brought the explanation into play that this could be due to Pogba losing his shoe in the 1-3 FA Cup quarter-final loss against Leicester on 21 March 2021.
March 21, 2021: Pogba Loses Laceless Shoe During FA Cup Match
In that game in the 22nd minute, Pogba lost his left shoe in a duel against Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho, which forced Pogba to change his shoes on the sidelines. This meant Manchester United was outnumbered in the following corner kick.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær could have suggested Pogba stop wearing laceless boots
UnderStats suggests that it could have been Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær who suggested Pogba stop wearing laceless boots. The French midfielder never wore the laceless Predator Freak+ boots in a Manchester United match after that scene in March.
April 11, 2021: Pogba Wears Laced Boots For First Time Since 5 Years
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has worn boots with laces for the first time in several years in the Premier League match against Tottenham yesterday.
Paul Pogba has been one of the main faces of laceless Adidas boots since the launch of the first modern laceless Adidas soccer cleats, the Adidas Ace 16+ in January 2016.
Pogba Makes Switch To Lace Adidas Predator Freak Boots
The first indicator that Pogba was not happy with the laceless Adidas Predator Freak was when Pogba laced up in the white/black/red Adidas Predator 19 'Paul Pogba Season 5 ′′ boots after the international fixtures.
Pogba is not wihtout a contract
Then yesterday, Paul Pogba wore the Adidas Predator Freak.1 football boots, which main and only difference to the Predator Freak+ are the laces/collar design.
The reason for Pogba to ditch the laceless boots is not that Pogba is about to lose his contract with Adidas but that he simply seems to not like the laceless Predator Freak+.

Nike and Kids of Immigrants Goalkeeper Jersey + Total 90 Shoes Released
Nike and streetwear label Kids of Immigrants have officially unveiled a comprehensive collaborative capsule collection. This wider release expands significantly upon the retro football aesthetic, offering a full range of apparel, accessories, and highly unique modified footwear.
The undeniable centerpiece of the expanded collection is the introduction of two bespoke slip-on mules, which draw heavy inspiration from the iconic Nike Total 90 football boot. The mules arrive in two distinct colorways: a muted beige and olive green iteration featuring a speckled sole, alongside a darker, glossy black and rich brown patent leather version. Both pairs are unified by a striking red and yellow outlined Swoosh on the midfoot and tongue, matching the vibrant accents found on the collection's primary jersey.
Rounding out the collaborative effort is a selection of matching apparel and accessories designed to complete the capsule. The standout piece of these other items is a special 1990s keeper kit.
