Brasileirão 50-Years Anniversary Logo Released

2021 marks 50 years since the birth of Brazil's top professional football competition, and the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) has introduced a new look to the league's logo.

Brasileirão New 50 Years Logo

The new logo is still based on the current design. It has the same silhouette but is now in gold instead of blue, white, gold and silver.

With the curves that gave the Brasileirão trophy a 3D effect gone, the new 50 years logo looks much flatter. The football is also now replaced with '50 anos' (50 years). And just like the crest, the name of the league is entirely golden.

Brasileirão was established in 1971 as a replacement for Brazil's previous national football championship, the Taça Brasil, which ran from 1959 to 1968.
