Nike Premier League 21-22 Ball Released
Nike and the Premier League have launched the official match ball for the 2021-22 season.
The new Premier League football introduces a bold patterned design that is different from that of the "base editions", once again.
Nike Flight 21-22 Premier League Ball
This picture shows the brand-new Nike Premier League 2021-2022 football.
The new Premier League ball features an eye-catching organic pattern that does not follow the form of the panels but rather the general spherical shape.
Most of the ball is white, but there's also lots of black and a bit of orange/crimson in the form of circles that appear throughout the design.
In terms of tech, the Nike Premier 2021-22 football is very similar to its predecessor in that it's still based on the 'Flight' model with the AerowSculpt tech that was introduced last season.
Nike Flight Premier League 21-22 - Features
- Nike Aerowsculpt technology uses moulded grooves to disrupt airflow across the ball for less drag and more stable flight. The revolution in aerodynamics results in 30% truer flight compared to Nike's previous Merlin ball
- 3D-printed ink helps fine-tune ball flight so you hit your target shot after shot, pass after pass
- All Conditions Control (ACC) technology adds a grippy texture so you get a consistent touch in wet or dry conditions
- 4 fused panels create a larger sweet-spot on the ball for powerful strikes
- Signature graphics celebrate the top flight of English football
- Price: £124.95
- Release date: 15 July, 2021
Chelsea and England midfielder Mason Mount had the following to say about the new Nike Premier League ball: "It's been the most incredible season and you could really feel the difference with the Nike Flight ball. I'm constantly striving for more consistency, particularly when it comes to goals and assists and this ball certainly helps me achieve that. I'm excited to get back to playing with it next season."
The Nike Flight Premier League 21-22 ball will be available to buy from 15 July, 2021.

Adidas Teases Predator 1994 to 2026 World Cup Connection
Adidas has officially teased a connection between the original 1994 Predator boot and the upcoming 2026 World Cup. In a recent social media update, the brand highlighted the legacy of the iconic Predator silo, which was initially launched for the 1994 tournament hosted in the USA.
With the 2026 World Cup set to be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada, Adidas is celebrating this 32-year journey as a full-circle moment for the boot. The brand noted that the Predator was made for the 1994 World Cup, and the tournament made the boot a legend. By stating that the road to glory continues, Adidas strongly suggests the upcoming release of special edition boots or a dedicated 2026 World Cup Predator model that pays homage to the 1994 original.
The teaser was accompanied by images showcasing the evolution of the Predator boot from its debut to its modern iteration. This announcement builds on recent Predator re-releases and limited editions, generating anticipation for what Adidas has planned for the 2026 tournament.
