Stoke City Teases Design Of 21-22 Away Shirt With Announcement

After the release of their new home uniform, Stoke City have announced the release date for the 21-22 away jersey. Despite not featuring the actual shirt in the picture, the text colour may hint at its' design.

Stoke City 21-22 Away Shirt To Be In Green and Black
The announcement picture is nothing too special except for the date, which has the numbers in green with black slashes while the Stoke City crest is monochrome.
This confirms the main colours for the shirt and it could be a striped design as well. It would be a return to a classic design back in the 90s, when Stoke has black and green away shirts for the 94-95 and 95-96 seasons.
The colour combination had been used before in recent time during the 15-16 season, albeit with a green diagonal stripe on black background instead.

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
