Update: For the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo ditched the undershirt and just wore a short-sleeve shirt.

Cristiano Ronaldo is wearing a different shirt style for Manchester United than he does for Portugal.

Instead of the traditional long-sleeve, he wore in the Euro 2020, Cristiano Ronaldo wore an undershirt in his first two matches with Manchester United.

For Real Madrid, Adidas created custom long-sleeve Player Issue kits

In the Euro 2020, CR7 wore a traditional long-sleeve football kit that has been created by Nike for their best players.

Why does CR7 not wear a long-sleeve kit for Manchester United?

We think the reason is that Adidas does not offer a long-sleeve Player Issue version of the United 2021-2022 kits.

For Real Madrid, Adidas created custom long-sleeve Player Issue kits. which were also worn by Ronaldo. For Juventus, Adidas did not provide CR7 with a custom long-sleeve jersey - he used an undershirt.
