Dynamo Moscow Wear Special Kits to Pay Tribute To Legendary Goalkeeper Lev Yashin
Legendary Soviet goalkeeper Lev Yashin would have turned 92 today. To pay tribute to their former goalkeeper, FK Dinamo Moskva wore special retro jerseys ahead of the match against Khimki.
Lev Ivanovich Yashin, nicknamed the "Black Spider" or the "Black Panther", was a Soviet professional footballer, regarded by many as the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the sport. He has had never played for another club than Dynamo Moscow - between 1950 and 1970.
Dynamo Moscow Wear Retro Jerseys In Honor Of Lev Yashin
The Dynamo Moscow retro jerseys mirror the look of their kit worn between 1950 and 1970. The player's kit is blue with a white Dynamo Moscow crest, while the keeper shirt is of course black.
After the match, the players signed their shirts. They can then be purchased at the club's fan shop in the Arena Plaza shopping center.
In the match, Dynamo Moscow reverted to their usual Puma kits.
FK Dinamo Moskva also released a video as well as a poster to pay tribute to Lev Yashin.
