Atalanta & Joma Respond To "Wrong Skyline" Kit Allegations, But They Are Lying
Atalanta Bergamo and Joma have released an official statement to the allegations that their 2021 Christmas shirt would feature the skyline of the city of Torino. However, they are not still admitting that they have made a fatal mistake but are actually also lying.
Atalanta Are Lying In Official Statement
Atalanta say that the "graphic of the skyline created and produced specifically by Joma for the 12th edition of the Christmas Match, it is the profile of the city of Bergamo and cannot be traced back to any other city". However, that is simply wrong.
Joma just took a stock picture of the Torino skyline and mirrored it
As highlighted by Francesco Caracciolo, the Atalanta Bergamo skyline on the kit is indeed just a mirrored image of the skyline of the city of Torino. It was taken from an Adobe Stock picture

Atalanta also say that in a "stylization some details may not faithfully refer to the collective imagination, and above all aware that there are multiple representations of the Bergamo skyline".
This is also more or less a direct lie - the skyline of Bergamo is simply not the mirrored one of Torino.
So the image of Adobe Stock, in which the monuments of Turin are clearly recognizable, if mirrored, represents Upper Bergamo according to Joma
