Adidas Bring Back Collars For 22-23 Season
Update: Many more kits from Adidas with a big collar have been leaked and released, including Arsenal. We expect more Adidas teams to have a collar in the 22-23 season, both smaller and top clubs.
For the 2022-2023 season, many Adidas teams will return to a classic collar style.
In recent years, large (polo) collars have rarely been used by Adidas. One reason is that a classic Polo collar is often not optimal for sports - Frankfurt's Hinteregger, therefore, wears a custom kit without the Polo collar.
Nike released third kits with a Polo collar for their Elite teams in the 2014-15 season. In 2021, Japan's 100th anniversary Adidas kit as well as a few 21-22 kits featured a collar (Besiktas away, Chile home).
Adidas 22-23 Jerseys With Large/Polo Collars
So far, not many of Adidas's 22-23 kits have been leaked. However, many of them have a Polo-inspired collar.
Manchester United's home jersey has a unique large 1990s-inspired Polo collar, and Real Madrid's 22-23 home kit also has one.
Colo-Colo's, Inter Miami's, and Boca Juniors 2022 kits all have the same classic-inspired collar - it is, however, a modern one with a v on the front to not disturb the players.
We expect many more Adidas 2022 kits to have a Polo-style collar.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich's 22-23 home kit features a round collar. We have no info about the collar design of Bayern München's 2023-2023 away and third shirts.
Arsenal 22-23 Home Kit
The Adidas Arsenal Football Club 2022-23 jersey is of course red and white - in terms of design, the main feature of the Arsenal 22-23 home kit is its collar, which is a polo-style one that is white with a red zig-zag graphic going around the rear.

Nike and streetwear label Kids of Immigrants have officially unveiled a comprehensive collaborative capsule collection. This wider release expands significantly upon the retro football aesthetic, offering a full range of apparel, accessories, and highly unique modified footwear.
The undeniable centerpiece of the expanded collection is the introduction of two bespoke slip-on mules, which draw heavy inspiration from the iconic Nike Total 90 football boot. The mules arrive in two distinct colorways: a muted beige and olive green iteration featuring a speckled sole, alongside a darker, glossy black and rich brown patent leather version. Both pairs are unified by a striking red and yellow outlined Swoosh on the midfoot and tongue, matching the vibrant accents found on the collection's primary jersey.
