FC Barcelona 2022 Pre-Match Shirt Released
Update: Nike and FC Barcelona have officially launched the new 2022 pre-match shirt, which is already available to buy in the club's official online store. We could see it in action ahead of the Supercup Clásico against Real Madrid tonight.
As expected, everything indicates that there will be no Barcelona fourth kit this season. Instead, the 1992-inspired shirt will be used for the pre-game warmups in the second half of the 2021-22 season. PSG will in all likelihood be the only Nike to receive a fourth kit this year.
FC Barcelona 2022 Pre-Match Jersey
This is the new Nike FC Barcelona pre-match football shirt for 2022.
Inspired by the 1992 Champions League final and based on the standard pre-match template, the Nike FC Barcelona 2022 pre-match jersey is predominantly orange with details in blue, red and black.
A standout feature of the Nike FC Barcelona 2022 pre-match shirt are the Nike and club logos on the chest, which feature a 'layered' style that was first visible on a few other items from the FCB 2022 collection.
A subtle checker pattern, made up of the word 'Culers', a nickname for the FC Barcelona supporters is applied across the front, back and sleeves of the shirt. The stripe on the left sleeve also features a checker pattern, in blue and red, taking close inspiration from the 1992 shirt.
The Barcelona 2022 collection is inspired by the 1992 Champions League final and the orange away shirt that was worn in the match against Sampdoria at Wembley.
